Natural larimar and quartz beads measure 6-7mm and are hand knotted on silk cord with faceted gold plated bead accents and a natural quartz crystal point. Larimar is the result of volcanic activity that occurred millions of years ago. It is a rare blue variety of Pectolite found only in the mountains above Baoruco in the Dominican Republic. Its color varies from white, light blue, green-blue to deep blue. Larimar is a high vibration stone that connects to both the Thymus (second Heart) and Throat chakras. As a stone of clarity, communication and truth, it brings calm and peace to any situation removing stress, anger, fear and negativity. Although born out of fire, Larimar's soothing and tranquil energy resonates with the water element and is one of few crystals to balance the polarities of these energies, reminding us to "go with the flow". Larimar is a nurturing stone, which stimulates the process of healing to the mind, body and soul. As a stone of the divine feminine, it helps connect women to their innate femininity and sense of one's own power. It assists men in connecting with their feminine, intuitive, and receptive nature.
